Members opt in themselves
There's no admin spreadsheet to maintain. A member runs /birthday, sets their date, and they're in. Because people enter their own birthday, it stays accurate and nobody has to hand you personal info they'd rather keep private.
The bot celebrates on the day
When someone's birthday comes around, CloudMod posts an announcement in the channel you chose — a friendly, automatic shout-out that lands whether or not any moderator is online. Your community gets the "happy birthday 🎉" pile-on that makes the day feel noticed.
An optional birthday role
Turn on the birthday role and the person of the day gets it for the day — a coloured name in the member list, or access to a special channel, whatever you set up. The bot adds it in the morning and takes it back afterwards, so it stays a genuine one-day thing.
Quiet by default, loud when it counts
Birthdays is a per-server plugin you toggle from the dashboard. Point the announcement at a general or off-topic channel so it feels celebratory, not spammy, and it stays out of the way every other day of the year.
