Frequently asked questions
Can CloudMod send an image welcome banner?
Yes — a designed banner with the member’s avatar, your text and colours, on one of nine templates or your own uploaded background. If the bot can’t attach files it sends the text version automatically.
Can I customize the welcome message?
Yes — your own text with variables like name, member count and ordinal (e.g. 500th), plus a pool of random greetings.
How does verification work?
A one-click verify button assigns a role that unlocks the rest of the server. It is its own plugin — the Verification Gate — so you can run it with or without welcome messages.
Can it celebrate milestones or thank boosters?
Yes — announce member milestones like the 1000th join, thank new boosters, and welcome returning members differently.
Can it skip fresh alt accounts?
Yes — a join condition can skip the greeting for accounts younger than a threshold, and it can greet on first message to filter ghost joins.
Is the welcome bot free?
