Static voice channels never fit. Have too few and people wait for a free one; have too many and your server is a graveyard of empty "Voice 4", "Voice 5", "Voice 6". Temp voice — join-to-create — sizes itself to your community automatically.
One lobby, unlimited rooms
You set up a single "join to create" lobby channel. When a member joins it, CloudMod instantly creates a fresh voice channel, moves them into it, and hands them control of it. Ten friends want to split into three groups? That's three rooms, created the moment they're needed.
They clean up after themselves
The magic is on the way out: when a temporary channel empties, CloudMod deletes it. Your channel list never fills with abandoned rooms, so the server stays tidy without anyone policing it. What you see is what's actually in use.
Sensible defaults, your naming
Configure the channel name pattern and an optional user limit so every generated room follows your style — "🎮 Gaming — {user}" or a simple numbered scheme. The person who created the room can rename it or set a limit themselves, so it feels like their space, not a generic slot.
Why it beats fixed channels
Fixed voice channels force a trade-off between "never enough" and "too cluttered". Join-to-create removes the trade-off entirely: capacity scales up when people arrive and back down when they leave. Your server always has exactly as many voice rooms as it needs — no more, no fewer.
Getting started
Enable Temp Voice Channels, create a lobby channel (call it "➕ Join to Create"), set your name pattern and user limit, and hop into the lobby to watch your personal room appear. Give CloudMod the Manage Channels and Move Members permissions so it can create rooms and move people in.
