Community · Invite Tracking
A Discord invite tracker that counts real joins.
Find out who actually brings people in. CloudMod matches every join to the invite link that was used, so you can see who invited whom, rank your best recruiters, and run invite contests that a wave of throwaway accounts can’t win.

Invite contests are easy to game
Without tracking, “who invited the most people?” is guesswork. With naive tracking it’s worse: fresh alt accounts, or friends who leave and rejoin, inflate the numbers. A useful tracker counts people who joined and stayed — and flags the ones that look fake.
Who invited whom
/invite who shows who brought a member in, and the Member joined log entry names the inviter and their new total.
A fair leaderboard
/invite leaderboard ranks the top 10. Bonus invites and members who left don’t count there, so nobody can gift themselves to the top.
Fake-account detection
Joins from accounts younger than your threshold (7 days by default) are counted separately as fake.
Leaves and rejoins handled
A member who leaves takes the credit back, and a rejoin keeps the original inviter — no inflating a count.
Track invites in three steps
- 01
Enable Invite Tracking
Switch on the plugin — it doesn’t use one of your plugin slots.
- 02
Check the permission
CloudMod needs Manage Server to read the invite list; /checkperms tells you if it’s missing.
- 03
Let it count
Every join from then on is attributed; members check their numbers with /invite stats.
Frequently asked questions
How does CloudMod track invites?
It compares invite use counts on each join and works out which link was used — that is why it needs Manage Server, to read the invite list.
Can invite contests be gamed with alts?
Much less easily: brand-new accounts count as fake, members who leave are taken back off, and a rejoin keeps its original inviter.
Can I give someone extra invites?
Yes — /invite bonus sets a member’s bonus-invite total (Manage Server or CloudMod admins). Bonus invites don’t count on the leaderboard.
Does it count joins from before the bot was added?
No — the bot has to be in the server before the invite is used. Vanity URLs and Discord’s own discovery can’t be attributed to a person.
Is the invite tracker free?
Yes — a free plugin that doesn’t use a plugin slot, currently Alpha. It stores who invited whom permanently, which is why you switch it on yourself.
