Moderation · Scam Guard
Stop scam raids from hacked accounts.
A trusted member’s account gets hijacked, pings @everyone and drops the same scam in every channel within seconds. CloudMod’s Scam Guard watches for that behaviour rather than the text, so it also catches scams posted as an image or QR code that no word filter can read.
A word filter can’t read a screenshot
The compromised-account raid moves faster than any moderator: an @everyone ping, the same “free Nitro” post in five channels, done in ten seconds. Because the scam is often an image, a text filter never sees it — and by the time someone is online, members have already clicked.
Behaviour, not keywords
Mass mentions and the same message posted across several channels within seconds trip the guard — whether the scam is a link, a file or an image.
Ban, kick, timeout or quarantine
Choose the action. A ban also deletes what the account posted in the last hour, and with ban sync on it applies across your whole network.
Character walls and scam links
Catches walls of block and Braille characters that push the chat off screen, plus an optional list of scam domains you supply.
Your staff stay safe
Members with Manage Server, your whitelist and project admins are never actioned, and anyone allowed to ping @everyone can still post announcements.

Frequently asked questions
How does CloudMod detect a compromised account?
By behaviour: a mass mention of @everyone or many users, or the same message posted in several channels within seconds (by default 3 channels in 10 seconds). Short chatter like “gg” never counts.
Does it catch image and QR-code scams?
Yes — the flood check looks at what the account does, not at the text, so an image posted across channels trips it just like a link.
Will it punish my moderators for pinging @everyone?
No. Anyone allowed to mention @everyone in that channel can do so, you can exempt roles per server from the mention check, and members with Manage Server are never actioned. The flood check stays on for everyone — that is what catches a trusted account after it has been hijacked.
Does it protect all my servers?
Yes — Scam Guard runs on every server in your network, and with ban sync enabled a Scam Guard ban on your main server is enforced on the sub-servers automatically.
Is Scam Guard free?
Yes, CloudMod has a free plan.
