Some channels have a job. A showcase channel wants reactions on every piece; an introductions channel wants a thread so replies don't bury the next newcomer. Doing that by hand is tedious and inconsistent. Channel Automations makes the channel do it for you.
Auto-react to every post
Pick a channel and the emoji(s) you want, and CloudMod reacts to every new message automatically. It's perfect for a showcase or media channel: every post starts with a 👍 (or your custom set), so members always have a one-tap way to show appreciation and posts never sit there looking ignored.
Auto-thread on each message
Turn on auto-threading and the bot opens a thread on each new post. Introductions, bug reports, submissions — anything where the post is the topic and replies belong tucked underneath. The main channel stays a clean list; the conversation lives in the thread.
Set once, per channel
These are per-channel rules, so a media channel can auto-react while your intro channel auto-threads, each doing exactly what it's for. You configure it once and the channel keeps enforcing its own format from then on.
A note on Alpha
Channel Automations is an Alpha plugin — usable and safe to turn on, just newer than our stable features, so if a rule doesn't behave the way you expect, that feedback is what gets it to stable. What it does is deliberately simple: react to, or thread, each new post.
Getting started
Enable Channel Automations, choose a channel, and decide between auto-react (set your emojis) and auto-thread (or both). Post a test message to confirm the reaction or thread lands the way you want before you point members at the channel.
